DHCA Needs You!
Are you a member of DHCA? If not, please consider joining. One of
most active neighborhood groups in the South (and perhaps the
nation), DHCA was founded in 1938 to help residents preserve and
protect the unique heritage of Druid Hills as envisioned by its
creator, landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted.
Today, DHCA is a lively, committed group of neighbors who work
together on projects ranging from revitalizing Emory Village to
planting trees, monitoring zoning issues, and solving traffic and
parking woes. Through proceeds from the Druid Hills Home & Garden
Tour, membership dues, and other resources, DHCA also provides
substantial financial support to such working groups as the
Olmsted Linear Park Alliance, the Peavine Watershed Alliance, the
Lullwater Garden Club, and the Alliance to Improve Emory Village.
DHCA is a self-governing organization run by an elected,
all-volunteer board. Individual household membership dues are $25
per year; sustaining membership categories are $50 and up.
