The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking feedback about a proposed solution to rehabilitate Ponce de Leon Avenue bridge over Lullwater Creek. The project proposes to rehabilitate the existing bridge. The project length is approximately 0.4 mile, and a 9.1-mile offsite detour is anticipated, though a shorter local only route is available with a length of 1.9 miles. A virtual Public Involvement Open House has been scheduled, and the project is open for comments online, by phone, or by email. The comment period is now open and will close on January 30, 2024.
